Gustav Voss, Taschenmesserfabrik (1901) / Messerfabrik (1929), traces its beginnings to before 1901. The fox-head (Fuchskopf) trademark was registered in 1916. Voss specialised in high-quality pocket knives during the 1920s and was still advertising pocket knives and cutlery in the 1940s.
