Wagner & Lange Stahlwarenfabrik was founded by Walter Wagner, Hans Lange and Dr. R. Brückmann, registering with the Solingen authorities on 5 June 1919. In 1921 it registered its WL monogram in the form of an arrow piercing a hat. It made straight razors, pocket knives, scissors, manicure sets and tweezers. In 1939 Hans Lange took full ownership.
