David Malsch was one of the small cottage makers of Steinbach in the Thuringian Forest, one of five firms there bearing the Malsch name. Like most of the Steinbach makers, it was a small workshop. The book shows a period patent for a three-wheeled bicycle and the grinding wheel at the David Malsch workshop.
