Eugen Haering, Fabrik feiner Stahlwaren, grew out of the Haering (Häring) & Mandt company formed in 1894, which registered the “three-leaf” trademark in 1897. The partnership dissolved between 1897 and 1901, when Eugen Haering registered with the Solingen Chamber of Commerce; he registered the three-leaf mark in his own name in 1902. The firm made razors, hunting knives, cutlery and dessert serving sets.

“Absolutely stunning in every aspect. So much background information that has been missed in other books. Definitely worth the price.”
